WELCOME TO OUR SUFFOLK SHEPHERD HUT HOLIDAY HOME

We wanted to share our little part of sleepy Suffolk with others: so we thought about creating a secluded private glamping location on our 350 yr old farm in Brandeston, Suffolk. A place where you are a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life; one where you can be inspired by our peaceful and beautiful countryside surroundings. Our bespoke shepherd’s hut has been handcrafted by local craftsman from The Suffolk Hutmakers Ltd. Together we have combined heritage design with the luxury of ensuite facilities to create a very special private place to stay under the vast starry dark skies of Suffolk.

The Scrumpy Shepherd is located in a private orchard setting, this is reached by walking over a meadow, and it contains several new and ancient fruit trees. The views from the orchard over the surrounding fields and meadows banking the Deben Valley are outstanding.
